Calgary's off to a great start. I'm so happy about this stanley cup finals. If Calgary wins Canada gets the cup back and Trevor Poelman probably will become a hockey fan. (he's living in Calgary now) If Tampa Bay wins my prediction was true and I can sell my Martin St Louis game used stick on ebay for a bundle. (but I probably won't) (1st I'd have to go all the way downstairs and get it and then I'd have to get my camera and take a picture of it, and then post it on ebay. It would be just too hard.)

I've put links to both my movies on the left for easy access. If you have trouble figuring it out* send me an email at any of my email addresses. habhate@nbnet.nb.ca, habhate@hartfordwhalers.net, twoigular@yahoo.com, habhater@mac.com, sheetz4life@hotmail.com, or markatolivet22@hotmail.com.

Ok now I'm just spoiling you. There is an easy link on the left to my Patricia Roy movie. There is an easy click banner at the top (thanks again Caleb) for you and all your friends to sign a petition to have the habs removed from the NHL and all their fans thrown into prison and now:

A NEW MOVIE: Ice Cream This movie brings a tear of joy to my eye every time I watch it. For you dialup modems out there this movie is 4.6MB so it should load a bit faster than the last one.

Also here is a link to three pictures of Graham and I after we watched Carolina destroy the Senators 3-2 in overtime. We wore what you see to the game. Many people appreciated it. Francis the Leaf

The link to the Patricia Roy video now works. Of course there's always one (Scottie Leighton*) who told me today it doesn't work for him. He said everytime he tries to play it his computer tells him he needs to download quicktime. I asked him if he had quicktime but he said he didn't. (and he's trying to open a quicktime file) Anyways it's 6 mb so it may be slow to load for some but it only takes about 1 minute or less on mine.

To answer Paul's question would I cheer for a team moved to Hartford from Pittsburgh. Most assuredly I would both Pittsburgh and Hartford having been places that Ron Francis has played. However, Carolina is in my heart and I will no doubt cheer for them forever. Toronto will always remain up there as well. (Do you see the pattern) My favourite Junior team is the Sault St. Marie Greyhounds. Anyways here's the link again to the Patricia movie: Patricia Roy the Loser

What does it all mean Basil? I'll tell you what it means. For the first time ever I launch to the world my Patricia Roy movie. Click here to see it: Patricia Roy the Loser

Well the verdict is in. Perezhogin is suspended for the rest of the playoffs and the entire next season. Stafford only got a 6 game suspension for missing Perezhogin. Once again my prediction has turned out 100% accurate. (including mandatory counseling)

As much as I wanted Toronto to win I'm not devastated by what is left in the playoffs. I like all 4 teams somewhat for different reasons. I will cheer for Calgary the rest of the way.

What do you think of the Leafs exit? I think it was obvious it was going to happen. After all they didn't play Francis in game 6 and lost. (no coincidence) Leaf fans well remember Francis's clutch game winning goal 2 years ago in the playoffs starting them on the path to elimination. How you don't start him when your backs against the wall I'll never know.

What do you think about the whole Alexander Perezhogin sting swinging incident? For those of you who do not know about the situation. Here is my unbiased reinactment. Garrett Stafford saw Alexander Perezhogin (a Hab in Training), naturally tried to hit him in the head with his stick but he missed. Alexander Perezhogin then swung his stick and struck Stafford in the face putting him in convulsions and sending him to the hospital. Check the news story here: More Hab Violence

If you want to know my opinion and let's face it I think you do it is this. Perezhogin should be suspended for a year minimum for the incident. I also recommend counseling so he can come back and play for a real team. Stafford should also be suspended for missing. And that's all I have to say about that.

Here are my reflections on the Montreal expected loss. Many of you have sent me congratulations regarding the total collapse of the Hab organization. I do appreciate the plethora of responses but I must say I have been kind of surprised at my own response. I felt joy when the Habs lost but it was kind of like the joy I felt when my favourite NBA team (the Lakers) won their 3 championships in a row. It was just expected. Tampa Bay swept Montreal which was what I predicted. The only surprise I had was that Montreal scored a goal in the series. I'm wondering if I've become so used to seeing the Habs lose that I have become complacent in my hatred of them. I compare it to having a passionate hatred towards the Nazi party now. Yes they need to be hated but they are no threat any more and there's nothing much left to hate. Somebody help me please!!!
