Ducks Using Man For Bread

ST. PAUL, MN - Como Park visitor Daryl Wilson, 31, reported that he was disappointed to discover that the ducks he'd fed for more than 20 minutes Monday were only interested in his bread. "I thought I'd really connected with the duckies," Wilson said. "But as soon as the bread ran out, they went off to another part of the lake. All that time, they were just using me for my crumbs." Wilson said he has not felt so rejected since the "squirrel and peanuts incident" last year.

Canada Wins!!!!

and then loses.

It was great to watch the game last night and see once again how much better Canadian hockey players are than the rest of the world. Canada didn't even have their best team there and they made the other teams look like the women's national ringette team. It was also great to see that Canada had zero Habs on the team that played even one minute of hockey which again made it easier for them to win. The Finns on the other hand foolishly played Sucky Koivu and it cost them any chance of competing at an adult level. We're number 1. We're number 1.

And now for something completely different. Gary Bettman (american) and the NHLPA have decided to put there own interests ahead of that of the fans. We have probably lost hockey for the season. I still remember Bettman telling Ron McLean a year and a half ago that there was no point in negotiating then because there was lots of time. (arrogant fool) I want my hockey I want to see the Habs embarass themselves. This was the year for their 0-82-0-0 season. I blame both sides and Osama Bid Ladin. (because he gets blamed for everything) More ranting later.

Ode to Trevor Poelman

As read at Zion Hill 2004

Trevor Poelman is not here.
I waited for him to appear.
We could have gone out for a ... Pepsi
But we didn't.

I longed to hear his Dutch like voice.
His wheezy breathe and music choice.
I would have bought him a Rolls ... automobile.
But I didn't.

He would have told us stories of Shawn.
Ryan and Chad and unmown lawns.
Those stories never made me ... sleepy
But he didn't.

I know that Calgary's far away.
He had to work and therefore stay.
His boss of course will have to ... give us money.
But he didn't.

Oh Trevor, Trevor where was your brain.
You dissed us and brought me so much pain.
I think you've driven me ... real crazy
Thanks a lot.

This week of camp is at an end.
And I have missed my Dutchy Friend.
I feel like buying a cotton ... mixture.
So I did.
