Can You See Anything Wrong with this Picture?

Am I upset? No I'm not upset. I always have faith that the Habs will not make the playoffs. If you remember my prediction at the beginning of the year was that their record would be 0 wins and 82 losses. I realize I was off a little bit but I still believe they will lose the rest of their games. People try to make fun of Carolina right now. I'll be honest I want them to make the playoffs but if they don't it won't crush me. After all they are still the Stanley Cup Champions. Go Toronto. Go New York and New York. Go Tampa Bay and yes go Florida. I think even Florida will pass the Habs before this is done. For those of you out there that don't like my sports posts here is a little something for you.

Final 4 is set

The final 4 teams are Florida, UCLA, Georgetown, and Ohio State. Special congrats go to Bobby Porter, Matt Rose, and Mark Croswell for getting it right. In my history of doing these pools I've never seen anyone get the final four before and this year 3 people got it. Hoping to do some regular posts this week. The hockey playoffs picture is pretty crazy with Carolina, both New York teams, Toronto, and Tampa Bay all fighting for the last three spots. Should be interesting. Here are the pool results:

This years tournament is stupid. The lowest rank in the Elite 8 is a 3. I hate this years tournament and not just because my favourite team didn't make it and my brackett is shot. No suspense. The favourite wins every game. In American Idol the favourite (Sanjaya) seems to be winning every week as well. ll

This is just a basic NCAA update. My nomination of Snoopy to the Dead to Me Wall in Facebbok did make the Relevant Podcast which was kind of cool. I'll tell you what isn't cool: the way I picked my NCAA Bracket. It could be worse I could be Not Neves. Oh yeah and in case you haven't noticed by now Tim blogged for a second time. His second post is very inspirational. Here are the scores:

1st: 54 Points - Tammy Craig

8th: 47 Points - Stefan Hettrick, Rebecca Perry
10th:46 Points - Brandon Melanson, Jason Guptill, Matt Rose, Caleb Lapointe, Graham Perry
15th:45 Points - Bob Croft, Nigel Russell, Jo Hanson, Chris Rayner

Those who know me well know I put American Idol just a little bit above the Habs and a little bit below decapitation. So to mess with the shows "integrity I have added a link under my Funny Links called "America's Idol" It will take you to Vote for the Worst.com and will help you decide how to vote to totally ruin the tv show. I'll put up my first update for the NCAA pool Friday night after the first round is over. We may have a record number of participants this year. Now on to more important things. I am being stalked. That is right I Kirk Perry of 414 rte 776 Grand Manan have a stalker. I don't know how these things happen as I'm always so careful with my personal information on the internet. It all started with a facebook group called "you're dead to me wall" by Elliot Innes. I nominated someone and ever since the person got put on the Dead to me wall he has been terrorizing my life. Here is what I wrote:

"Hmmm I'd like to vote Snoopy on to the Dead to me wall. There are many reasons why this should happen. He obviusly was physically abusing Woodstock. If you decifer the code !! !!!! !!! means "help me he has a bat". Secondly what was the deal with him flying his dog house around and shooting at the Red Baron. Who did he think he was "Arthur Roy Brown"? (this Canadian actually shot him down) Snoopy was trying to take credit for other people's hard work. He dances like a person staring at a skyscraper and his name denotes the idea that he probably is a stalker as well. Snoopy must be walled. Since February 12 2000 he also hasn't done anything new. WALL HIM!!!!!"

Since this I have received threatening email cards from Snoopy, a friend request from him in facebook, and small rodents are turning up dead in my backyard. Snoopy or as many like to call him "Snoop Dog" must be stopped. Help me!!!

Current NIT Pool Standings:

Rebecca Perry - 26 Points
Scottie Leighton - 24 Points
Kirk Perry - 22 Points
Graham Perry - 22 Points
Sydney Joy - 22 Points
Tim Branscombe - 22 Points

My friend Caleb is going to a Weird Al concert in less than 5 hours and he is going without me. He did invite me to go but the whole 24 hour plane ride made it impossible for me to make it in time. I do hope he has the opportunity to play cowbell during the concert. (all real Weird Al fans go to concerts with their own cowbell) Also just a heads up I will be doing another March Madness pool this year. If you want to fax your picks to the church you can at 506-662-8743 or you can email me your picks or call me and I'll write them down. I may look for an online site you can just post them at. It looks like yahoo may be good for that this year. In fact I just created it. Go to yahoo.com and click fantasy sports. Then go to College Hoops Glory and click "sign up now". Click join a group and then click join private group. Group ID # is 92096 and the password is "dukesucks" Fill in your bracket and your done. This may seem complicated but it is rather simple. Invite as many people as you would like.

Top 27 Weird Al quotes 27-21 and Smell Caleb

Well two updates to my blog. Caleb Lapointe remixed and rerecorded my song I love Your Smell last year and I have failed to post it until now. (for shame) It is over under the Kirk's Downloads. Because I love even my illiterate readers (Scottie) who don't like reading through long lists of Weird Al quotes (like you have something better to do), I will list them here but I have also put the originals together and you can download it over under my new section "Kirk's Top 27 Weird Al quotes" If you can read I'll list them below. Scottie you can listen to them over on the side. (don't be hard on Scottie even some of the Hab coaches struggle with this....It's a hab thing)

#27 You also made yourself look like a jerk in front of millions of people! And you brought shame and disgrace on your family name for generations to come! You don't get to come back tomorrow! You don't even get a lousy copy of our home game!
You're a complete loser!!

#26 Walk real funny, bless my soul Can't play tennis and it's hard to bowl You can't even do the splits now... Say it!
Better call it quits now Now I'm sick of all this dancin' anyhow. Living with a hernia Hurts me bad in a tender location

#25 Use my razor to shave your legs or eat crackers in bed Stomp the poodle till it's flat You could even shove a six-inch railroad spike through my head I could learn to live with that But now I'm begging you down on my bended knees
Oh honey, please don't wear those shoes.

#24 I lost one of my socks in the drier I can't find my wallet and my hair is on fire Just one of those days. It's just one of those days.

#23 I sued Delta Airlines 'Cause they sold me a ticket to New Jersey I went there, and it sucked!

#22 'Cause you start out stealing songs, and then you're robbing liquor stores
And selling crack and running over school kids with your car So don't download this song

#21 Put down that chain saw and listen to me.

Love you Scottie (even if you can't read this)

Back Hair Baby, Kirk's Old yet New Song

If you click on the link on the left for Back Hair Baby you can download this song I wrote about 6 years ago. I only recently found a karaoke track for it and then have spent the last month trying to deal with all the background vocals that don't match my lyrics. It meant I had to do some unison to drown it out but all in all it turned out spiffy. This one of my favourite parodies I've ever written second probably only to Amazed by Poo. Have fun.
