I am currently at Hillside Wesleyan Church waiting for my ride to the airport. For the next couple of weeks I'll be in Australia so I probably won't be posting till I get back. Just in case I do get internet access while I'm away if you Grand Manan people would keep me updated on the basketball situation that would be narly. Oh yeah and Tim and Darren don't forget I hired "Now You See 'em inc". I'm expecting results.
Mike click on the word Quinzee in the last post to see a picture and to find out how to build one. In my own words I would describe it as a magical, phantasmagorical combination of intestinal fortitude, patience, love and magical powers that holds it all together. Next one that is built I am going to insist on a fireplace and handicapped parking out front. Love all of you except one and you know who you are.

A lot has happened since my last post. First of all Ground Hog Day has come and went. I trust your celebration this year was everything you had hoped it would be. Thank-you to the many of you that called and wished me a happy Ground Hog Day. It looks like we're getting more spring this year.
The superbowl came and went. The game was a little sloppy for my liking but as a result of the game I won our Football Pool. Check out the link at the left for more details. We had 7 different people in first over the course of the year making it close and competitive.
I also got to take part in a Grand Manan tradition this year on Superbowl Sunday. Every year a group of guys gets together and plays tackle football that Sunday afternoon behind the grave yard. Numbers were down this year but we still had a blast. I made it through without injury. Everyone is invited to come and play next year.
Last night Tim, Darren and I slept out in the woods in a Quinzee that Darren and Tim had built. I had just gone out to see it with no plans of staying over night. When I got there it was so cozy and I was gonna get a chance to spoon with Darren and Tim so I stayed. Since I hadn't planned on staying I was ill equipped for the night. I had no sleeping bag or dry clothes to sleep in. I used an extra blanket they had brought but by 3:00 AM I was literally freezing to death so I hiked back out went home and watched "the hot chick". Darren and Tim arrived home about an hour later. Lessons learned. With better planning we could stay out there for weeks.
