The Carolina Hurricanes Have Won the Stanley Cup!!!!!!!!!!
The day has finally come. The Hartford Whalers/Carolina Hurricanes are the World champions. This is my 20th year as a fan and I can hardly believe this day has arrived. I'd like to thank all Hab Haters that have made this day possible. I'd like to thank Justin Coutu for rewriting Brass Bonanza (the Whalers theme song) which was fearured in my pregame dance routine. Thank-you to Rob Meeks for being the only other real Canes fan I know. Thank-you to Ron Francis for being the real builder of this team. Your year of mentoring Eric Staal really paid off. I dedicate this win to all the great Whalers including Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Ron Francis, Kevin Dineen, Ulf Samuellson, and Frank PieterAngelo. I apologize in advance for how intollerable I will be about this. My favourite team won the Stanley Cup and I'm pretty safe in saying none of your favourite teams even came close.
