Shame on me for taking so long between post. Especially since the Habs are in the process of self-destructing before our eyes. I like to think I've had a major part in all of this. I attended many games in Saint John while Corey Stillman and Martin St. Louis were playing there. I remember many times yelling suggestions to them like "pretend that goalie is Patricia Roy and shoot him with a bazooka" and "score on him he is as useless as a hockey player in a hab jersey" I'm sure advice like this has shaped their careers and made them into the players they are today. Incidentally I watched game 3 with 5 Hab fans including H.C. Wilson. It was fun watching them get excited when Tampa let them get back in the game. With 4 minutes to go (I'm not making this up) I said and I will quote as best as I can remember. "I have full confidence that the Habs are going to blow this game. In fact I'm saying Brad Richards will score the game tying goal and Vincent Lecavallier will score the game winner" They proceeded to laugh at me. The laughter stopped with 17 seconds left in the game. I realize I got the goal scorers in the wrong order but H.C. Wilson called me a prophet. With my new found talent here is my prediction for tonight. Montreal will lose 12-0 and cry a lot at the end of the game. Go Tampa Bay!!!

2nd Round will start soon and the first round brought great joy and agonizing pain. I am filled with joy over the win of Toronto and continue to hope for a long playoff run for them. As for the Boston series. Boston are a bunch of Hab losing fruitcakes. They had a simple job (beat the Habs) and they couldn't even do that. The Brockville Braves could have beat the Habs in that last series. Stupid, useless, lack of ability, Jean Chretien loving, idiotic Bruins. Go Tampa Go!
One other thing Scott Leighton (Hab Fan who thought Ribeiro was really hurt) is claiming that the story about the kids being abused in the newspaper article happened in Quebec City instead of Montreal. I think Scott is not aware that the province name is Quebec and the whole province is not one big city. Quebec City is a different thing than the province of Quebec. Hopefully Scottie has it straight now. I remember the original article clearly stated it was in Montreal. The two articles posted here on this site both state it was in Montreal. Scott has no proof otherwise. (hab liar) It's funny when it comes to the past Montreal fans seem to have a very selective memory for facts that they want to keep straight.

I don't want anyone to think I am jumping on the band wagon. I have total confidence that the Habs are going to lose tonight. It will be joyous to look upon their disappointed faces. The open weeping and distraught looks are something I used to always look forward to in the playoffs. (until they started missing them every year) I'll post more later.

This just may be a long post. As a hockey fan I am thoroughly disgusted with the Montreal Canadiens and their fans. If you have been watching the last couple of games you know what I am talking about. Let's tackle this one thing at a time. First there is the booing of the American national anthem. Click here for story: Hab Fans show no class The article also mentions a separate incident where P.J. Axelsson lay motionless on the ice and even after the play stopped the fans "cheered wildly" I slam Americans all the time but booing a national anthem embarrasses the whole country. Booo Hab fans and your classless actions. Cheering because a guy is lying motionless on the ice is just cruel. I think every fan at that game should be banned from NHL games for life.
Is this the first time the Hab fans have embarrassed all of Canada. Not even close everyone needs to read this article from March of last year. Hab Fans Terrorize American Children This story made me sick. Thankfully the New Brunswick government stepped in and invited the group of Hab fan abused kids back to New Brunswick and restored the kids faith in Canadians. Read story here:Abused Team (by hab fans) healed by true Canadians
Then there is the whole Ribeiro fiasco. If you didn't see it here is what happened the Bruins are on a 3 on 2 when Ribeiro gets tapped and immediately falls to the ice and rolls around like he has been shot in the testicular region. Later (about 15 seconds after the whistle blows to see how Ribeiro is) Ribeiro skates to the bench seemingly miraculously healed. He is then seen on camera mouthing the words "how'd you like that" to the Boston bench. Paul Perry my cousin sent me this beautiful picture of Ribeiro:Ribeiro the big idiotic faker I was talking to Randy Parker last night (a well known hab fan who has brainwashed his kids to be hab fans as well. Kind of a Conal Cosgrove like person) He said the Ribeiro thing made him embarrassed to be a hab fan. Scottie Leighton (another well known Hab lover) really thought Ribeiro was hurt. Yes Scottie and monkeys might fly out of my butt. Ribeiro should be suspended longer than Bertuzzi was for bringing more embarassment to the game then Bertuzzi did. Anyways I'll quit now. More soon. Let me know what you think.

Other than the Habs predictable 3-0 loss I must say I have been very disappointed with the playoffs so far and it has nothing to do with who has won the games. The reffing has been awful. Put the whistles away and let the players play. I've seen better hockey in Brockville!!!! Way too many penalties, even with less than 10 minutes left in the game the refs are whistling more than Rob Bruce's exact opposite would be in front of a Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Issue Tryout Camp.
Playoff pool is underway with 23 teams. Feel free to check it out. Go to www.officepools.com Under pool ID type Martha, and under password type: Stewart.

UCONN has done something no other school has done in the history of the NCAA tournament. They have won both the men's and women's National Championship. Since the NCAA tournaments are the hardest finals to win of all sports this feat is incredible. It's particularily sweet for me considering when I first started cheering for Connecticut University neither team had ever won an NCAA game. Since then the men have won two championships and the women have won five. (including three in a row right now) Literally the only sporting event that could top this for me (other than the Habs disbanding) would be for Carolina to win the stanley cup wearing their third jerseys which would actually be Whaler's jerseys. Playoff pool news: I have 17 teams signed up now with plenty room for more. If you haven't received an entry yet email me at habhate@nbnet.nb.ca. Deadline for picks is Wednesday at 7:00 Eastern.

I know all of you are nervous about the UCONN championship game tonight. It's ok to be nervous just change your shirtr 7 times today, wash your hands every 11 minutes, and eat nothing but pork rinds and you should be all right. On a different subject I emailed out an entry form into an nhl playoff pool I'm hosting. The winner has a chance of getting their name on a trophy next to the likes of great sports pundits of our time like Caleb Lapointe, Andrew Maves, Paul Perry, and Kirk Perry. (Mark Croswell too) If you haven't received this email from me and want to enter either email me at habhate@nbnet.nb.ca or leave a comment on here with your email address. Everyone is welcome, there is no fee, a link to a website to follow the progress and comment on the pool will be available to all who enter.

Sorry Carrie I have been busy. Just for you I'll post right now. Habs are on a 4 game losing streak. Hey Scottie do you know why the chicken crossed the road? - because Amber is a hab fan. I assume everyone is gearing up for Easter. We've decided to skip it this year. (April Fools) Actually all hockey fans (and Scottie) out there check back either late Sunday night or early Monday morning for your chance to enter our hockey playoff pool. More info. soon. NCAA Pool update. If Duke beats Connecticut Tim Branscombe will win the pool. If Connecticut wins the National Championship my sister will win the pool. If Oklahoma State wins then Shawn Craven will win the pool. I will not be winning the pool. #%$#@# ^&$^#%#
